Ambidextrous

Ambidexterity is the ability to use both hands equally well. Whether it is writing, eating, playing or doing chores, an ambidextrous person can use either hand with equal skill. While right-handed people are dominated by the left side of their brain, ambidextrous people possess symmetrical brain hemispheres. They tend to perform better in areas of music, art, sports and other such activities. Only very few people are truly ambidextrous and this list includes names of famous personalities like Albert Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci and Benjamin Franklin. While some people claim ambidexterity boosts brain power, some others refute the claim citing that no research proves so. Whether it’s an adult or a child, ambidexterity can be learned through conscious training and in turn, prove to be very effective for the learner. You might ask what is the use of being ambidextrous when you only need your dominant hand to perform tasks.
