Robotics and Automation

Robotics and Automation is the design, creation and application of robots to perform tasks along with the use of computers for their processing and manipulation. Many industries use robots for speeding the manufacturing process. They are also used in the field of nuclear science, service and transmission of electric signals, and the designing of bio-medical equipment, among many others. The main aim of Robotics and Automation is to reduce the need for human labour during the production process through the utilisation of control systems and information technologies. It requires the combined application and knowledge of computer engineering, software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biological mechanics.

Robotics and Automation demand the individual to learn and develop an interest in design, engineering and mathematics. They must also possess a programming mindset and the will to devote themselves to lifelong learning. Robotics and Automation have a great impact on our lives and with a career in this field, you have the ability to transform that, provided you make responsible and conscious choices.
